I. AM. BACK! I know, it’s been awhile. Gosh, this is really harder than I expected. I LOVE the feeling I get when I actually find time to blog, so I am hoping I can consistently provide some content, as I have some ideas brewing.
I feel like right now there is something in the water? Quite a few friends and co-workers are pregnant, which is so exciting! I wanted to share some of my favorite products – some I would not want to live without, and others I will def buy when baby #2 comes around [nope, not pregnant]
1.Stroller: This one is more of an investment piece, but I ALWAYS recommend this stroller. It is everything! Mila is 2 years old now and we still use it quite frequently. It is super sturdy, but runs so smoothly. It comes with a bassinet for your newborn and the 2017 model allows you to add the second seat, if you have a toddler. It has a large storage basket at the bottom and I did not realize how important this would be, until I had Mila and carried around a million things all the time. The Vista has amazing reviews. 2. Fisher Price, Rock’n Play Sleeper: I did not have this on my registry, nor did I know of its existence when I was pregnant. One of my co-workers, who had just had twins [her 2nd and 3rd babies] sent me one and told me I needed it. She was SO RIGHT. This was a total lifesaver! We got so much use out of this. It was the ONLY thing Mila slept in for the first four months. It is super light, folds up, and very easy to take along anywhere you go. Trust me, every new mama needs this one. Added bonus – it is under $50.
3. Baby Beaba: I knew I wanted to make most all of Mila’s baby food and this made it really simple. The baby magic bullet is great also, but the biggest difference is this one also steams everything for you. This little thing will steam everything, blend it, defrost it, and can also reheat before you serve! You do not need much else to prepare some yummy and healthy meals. It also comes with a recipe book to get you started.
4. Bumbo seat: You can use this from about 5 months-ish to about 3 years old, as it also acts as a booster. I loved this when Mila was a baby [before she crawled or walked] as it provides some independence for mama!
5. Lobster Highchair: This is the only item I did not have, but plan to purchase when I have another baby. It comes highly recommended by a friend, and I have seen it everywhere! It is a portable high chair that hooks on to a table anywhere. So basically, it looks like your baby is floating, but attached to a table? Pretty much.
Mamas, hope you enjoyed my list and happy baby shopping [not much else more fun than that!]. Feel free to share your favorites also!
