It has been awhile… but we just got over our 3rd / 4th cold of the season. So I wanted to enter back into the blogging world by sharing a delicious + healthy recipe.
Mila and I are obsessed with this smoothie, so it is a frequent one in our household. We make it at least 4-5x a week! A few things I love about it: healthy ingredients, simple & it is high in fiber.
1/2 cup of organic broccoli or broccolini (cut the stems)
1 organic avocado
1 handful or pitted dark cherries
1 handful of raspberries
1 teaspoon of chia seeds
1/2 cup – 1 cup of pure pomegranate juice (I like to eat my smoothie so I put 1/2 cup. Bobby & Mila like to drink it, so he puts more liquid. You can also use water if you do not want the added sugar)
I love using the Nutribullet because we can just use the cup we blended in and the clean up is quick and simple. It does only make about 1-2 servings-I usually share the cup with Mila. And of course, we use a spoon AND a straw!
